BINGO BITCH

Directed by Alex Papachristou

with Ellis Howard, Shubham Saraf

Synopsis

To punish Echo, Hera deprived them of speech, except for the ability to repeat the last words of another.

In this fashion retelling of the Greek myth Echo and Narcissus, Echo is forced to live out their days as a bingo caller. In a world where talk is cheap, BINGO BITCH explores the true cost of words.

About the Director

Alex Papachristou is a Queer British-Greek Artist, based in London. He graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2018. In 2020 Alex established fashion storytelling platform, The AP Club Social.

‘My hope is by merging the beauty of high fashion with words we are able to explore narratives in an even more heightened and pseudo-realistic way, and often via this lens unearthing the core of a tale or parable in a deeper, more resonant and reimagined perspective.’- Alex Papachristou

BINGO BITCH is the second in a series of Greek Myths reimagined. The first, ‘Notes On A Falling Boy’, tells the story of Icarus, and was premiered at the beginning of 2021 via @apclubsocial.
